Dynamic Source Manufacturing was founded by Duane Macauley, John Geissler, and Sherman Cunningham with a focus on delivering Tier 1 EMS capabilities with the flexibility and customer focus of a specialized partner.

The Calgary facility achieved ISO 9001 certification, establishing DSM’s formal quality management systems early in its growth.

DSM expanded operations by opening a second manufacturing facility in Calgary to meet increasing customer demand.

DSM became an authorized JTAG Technologies Applications Provider, strengthening in-circuit testing and diagnostic capabilities.

Operations were consolidated into a new, larger Calgary facility to improve efficiency, capacity, and production flow.

DSM received Controlled Goods certification from the Government of Canada, enabling secure manufacturing for regulated programs.

A global procurement center was opened in Scottsdale, Arizona to enhance supply chain management and component sourcing.

DSM established its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Tempe, Arizona, creating a dual-facility North American footprint.

DSM Arizona completed ISO 9001:2015 certification, aligning quality systems across both Canadian and U.S. operations.

DSM achieved ISO 9001:2015 recertification and ITAR registration, supporting secure, export-controlled manufacturing programs.

DSM relocated to a new Calgary office and production facility to support growing teams and expanded manufacturing capacity.

The Calgary facility was expanded to increase production space, automation capabilities, and office infrastructure.

DSM is expanding its Arizona facility to support continued growth, new equipment installations, and higher production volumes.

The recent addition of new SMT production lines, as well as the upcoming expansion of our Arizona facility, enhances our capacity and flexibility, positioning DSM to capture new manufacturing opportunities and further align with Industry 4.0 standards.

In the spirit of respect and truth, Dynamic Source Manufacturing acknowledges that our Calgary facility is located on the traditional territories of the peoples of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta. This includes the Blackfoot Confederacy, comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations, as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation and the Stoney Nakoda Nations, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations. We also recognize that Calgary is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III, and we are grateful to live and work on land that has been cared for by Indigenous peoples for generations.

We also acknowledge that our Tempe operations are located on the traditional lands of the Akimel O’odham (Pima) people, who have lived in and cared for the Salt River Valley since time immemorial.
