Growing its position as a leading Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider, DSM opens a Global Procurement Centre in Arizona, USA.

Calgary, Alberta. November 2012 – Dynamic Source Manufacturing Inc. (DSM) structures its growth mode and goes international! DSM has opened a new Global Procurement Centre in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. In addition to providing day-to-day purchasing support, the primary focus of the facility will be to become a procurement Centre of Excellence. Having a designated off-site facility, without the daily distractions of operations and production will provide a streamlined focus on supply chain, and further contribute to the overall success of providing flexible and customized electronics manufacturing solutions.

“Our responsibilities will extend well beyond the placing of purchase orders. Currently we have a great team managing the tactical functions and serving as our “boots on the ground” providing that service. However, in Arizona we will be in a position to enhance current and future manufacturing sites by facilitating a purchasing culture pursuing strategic initiatives and best practices and then flow them down to the individual facilities”, says Bill Skelton, General Manager of the Arizona Global Procurement Centre. “We are not only proud to be joining the DSM team, we’re excited to be playing an integral role in the growth of Dynamic Source Manufacturing and the continued success of our Customers”.

“Bill Skelton has been in Supply Chain for over 20 years and has extensive experience in international sourcing and contract management. Having begun the process of staffing the procurement centre with a team boasting significant experience in the electronic components industry, their main focus will be to spearhead the new Centre of Excellence in Arizona, in partnership to grow the reputation of DSM as a leading Electronics Manufacturing Service provider in North America and beyond”, adds Duane Macauley, President of DSM.
