The Documentation Specialist will process, control, modify and store documents and critical records related to customer and internal corporate data. This individual will provide sales order documentation support to the Program Managers and full documentation control for corporate programs (Quality, Safety, etc.)


• Process customer purchase orders into the company ERP system
• Generate & distribute production job orders/travelers
• Manage customer and company engineering change orders (ECOs), temporary deviation notices (TDN) and bill of material (BOM) revisions
• Analyze, compare and prepare variance reports for customer ECO, TDN, & BOM submissions
• Maintain and control released Engineering, Quality, & Manufacturing documentation to include but not limited to:
o Engineering drawings, schematics, Gerber files, etc.
o Firmware
o Work Instructions
o Test Procedures
o Standard Operating Procedures
o Corporate forms
• Assume functional ownership of the corporate documentation database(s)

• Responsible for the Item Master creation and revision in the company ERP & inventory management systems
• Comply and participate in the continuous improvement of the Company’s Safety, Quality, & Lean initiatives
• Any other related responsibilities not detailed here but that could be reasonably expected


• Post-secondary education (Records Management) or equivalent
• Minimum five (5) years records management experience in a Manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills, project management skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential
• Sound understanding of the electronic manufacturing processes, customer service and business acumen is required for this position
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), Email and ERP Software
• Excellent organizational skills – ability to multitask and effectively prioritize and perform tasks efficiently
• Strong self-starter with the ability to work with various teams to achieve results and meet targets in a fast paced environment
• Analytical, problem solver – ability to identify, evaluate and effectively resolve problems
• Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
